Back in early August, Sherlock Holmes was wandering around the Paynes & Borthwick site at the bottom of Watergate Street, possibly trying to detect when this development might be back in the building game again.*
This week M15 were down there in a shoot out as Spook Lucas tried to protect the CIA's new cybersecurity system from hackers...
Or is this footage of a Deptford leftie, bizarrely in tune with recent Tory spending cuts, gunning down useless quango Arts&Business for having handed over a small fortune of tax-payers' money (via the Arts Council) for the past three or four years via Future City (middle men to the middle men) to developers Lane Castle and JER Partners to run a website to showcase local artists*, making the developers look good and as though they'd spent their own money (and not the tax payers') whilst building absolutely nothing, and serving no purpose to the artists, nor anyone else come to think of it....
* See aerial TV shots of the site from the Sherlock Holmes episode in our August post here.
* The P&B Showcase website is nevertheless a good listing of local artists and practitioners...(I am in it)...
