  1. I went to the first Deptford Open exhibition a little earlier in the year - and I have to say it was a pretty miserable show - I'm not being snobby but nearly all of it was very, very poor.

I tackled the second show this weekend with trepidation - but I was pleasantly surprised! It's a very good show - a couple of excellent sculptures as well - one of which - the crane type thing raising and lowering a chain - would look very good in a permanent Deptford environment - the anchor it's not - but there was a big nod to maritime history here.

Quite a nice little erotic video on the second room as well, and a hilarious video of a 'being' doing a self portrait of itself!

    well worth the visit.
